Fowler Bell PLLC was the official sponsor of the practice putting green at this year’s PGA Tour Barbasol Championship, which took place on July 15-18 at Champions at Keene Trace Golf Club, Nicholasville, Kentucky. Fowler has worked on several matters with Keene Trace in the past and represents some of its members. Despite some stormy weather on the first few days, the Lexington community turned out well to support this event, which will be contested at Keene Trace through the year 2023. This year’s winner, Seamus Power, lasted through six sudden-death playoff holes to prevail after tying at 21-under-par with J.T. Poston. As a result of his win, Power will receive a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour, as well as qualification to the 2022 Players Championship and PGA Championship.
